Eligibility for Indian PPL / CPL
1) Academic Qualification:
for PPL- Private pilot licence : Min 10th Pass out from recognized board.
For CPL - Commercial Pilot Licence 12th Pass with Physics & Maths with English above 50% Marks in both subject
2) Age Requirement 16 + For PPL & 17 Years or above at the time appearing for cpl examination
3) Medical Requirement: Clear Class II & Class I Medical examination by DGCA approved medical practitioner. The DGCA Class 1 Medical Exam is a comprehensive medical exam that assesses the physical and mental capabilities of the pilot. 4) Legal: Will Candidate have passport or does that passport have any restriction? or does Candidate have any legal case register ?
5) Financial: will candidate is financial strong to afford Ground Classes & flying Training through either self funding or Educational loan?

TECHNICAL SPECIFIC
This exam is for students doing flying training from India. Exam is specifically of the particular aircraft on which student is getting trained in their respective flying school, such as Cessna 172, Cessna 152, DA-40, Etc. Exam syllabus is primarily focused on the systems and type of engine installed in the aircraft used for training.
RADIO TELEPHONY RESTRICTED- AERONAUTICAL (RTR-A)
This Examination is conducted in conjunction with WPC and DGCA. Exam is divided into 2 Sections. Part-1, which deals in Radio transmission test & Part-2 which is a Viva of Regulations, Radio-aids, Basic Electrical.
