ELIGIBILITY FOR AIR HOSTESS

Educational qualification:- Domestic airlines accept crew with 10+2 but some international airlines require graduates. Final Year appearing is also accepted.

Height requirements:- Most of the domestic airline ask for minimum 5’2″ & above for Girls & 5’7” Inches & Above for boys, International airlines usually require an Arms reach test at least touch 212 cms mark.

Weight requirements: - Height and weight has to be in proportion. BMI is calculated and has to be maintained. Girls: 18 to 22 BMI, Boys 21 to 25 BMI

Age requirements:- For domestic airlines its minimum 18 years and for international is 21 years.

Document required at the time of admission: Zerox copy of Academic documents, copies of diploma / degree, Passport (with min 6 Month Validity), passport & Full Length Photograph, pan card, police verification etc.

Grooming requirements:- Hair-Every airline has strict regulations regarding hair and has to made into a bun or French knot for the flight. If your hair is short it can't go below the nape of your neck.

Nails - The airline usually gives you a list of colours allowed. For the interview keep it simple and put nude nail paint. Boys please keep your nails clean and get a manicure & pedicure.

Skin:- Colour of your skin does not matter airlines in the world, Skin has to be clear; airlines are very particular about it. No visible tattoos allowed no visible scars or cuts.

Piercing: - only one in each ear and by that i mean for girls. No piercings allowed on your tongue or eyebrows.

Makeup:- It’s an integral part of this job and even if you don't like it you have to do it. Boys please be dressed immaculately for the interview and have a clean shaven face. Clean any facial hair including ears and nose.

Uniform:- wear smart formals. For ladies wear a well fitted skirt which is till your knees and a well fitted shirt, wear proper undergarments. For boys a well fitted suit or even a shirt and pant is fine.

Teeth: - There is no specific dental requirement such as 'perfect teeth' to become a cabin crew, but airlines typically look for candidates with good clean & presentable teeth and a healthy smile
